Our production

Wine production at this winery focuses on quality, not quantity. The three hectares of vineyards, located in a corner of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, host a few vines, especially native ones, which produce wines of great value, pure and clean, with an excellent structure and good acidity.

Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC “Titut Ros”

The Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC “Titut Ros” is a 100% Merlot, produced with grapes grown at the eastern end of Friuli.

The grapes are harvested almost at the end of October, vinified and fermented with indigenous yeasts with macerations for up to 30 days. The wine ages for at least 18-24 months in French oak barriques.

TASTING NOTES
Intense ruby red, with a complex and concentrated bouquet of sweet wild berries, cherries, spices and balms. On the palate it is velvety, intriguing and sensual, with a balsamic persistence and good acidity.

Age of vines: 20 -40 years
Breeding: bilateral Guyot
Harvest period: fourth week of October with manual harvesting in small 15kg crates

Maceration on the skins for up to 30 days
Malolactic fermentation and aging in wooden barrels
Duration of refinement from 18 to 24 months
Bottling without clarification or filtration

Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC “Vicorosso”

The Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC “Vicorosso” is a high quality red wine, which can be considered a point of reference for Friulian oenology and beyond.

It is produced with Merlot and Refosco grapes, which are macerated on the skins and then aged in barrique for 18-24 months.

TASTING NOTES
Intense ruby red, with a fruity bouquet of raspberries, spicy notes of liquorice. On the palate it is silky and round, with an intense fruitiness that lasts for a long time.

Colli Orientali del Friuli Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso DOC

The old vineyards of Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso in Ronc di Vico, located in small parcels between Savorgnano and Faedis, produce high quality grapes.

The vinification takes place in wooden vats, with indigenous yeasts, and is then aged for 18-24 months in barrique. To fully appreciate its characteristics it is advisable to leave it in the cellar for at least a year.

TASTING NOTES
A deep and intense ruby red, which on the nose releases a rich and complex bouquet of red fruits, cherry and blackberry jam, with pleasant notes of rhubarb and almond. On the palate it is delicately balanced, with harmonious fruitiness, lively acidity and soft tannins. Persistence is excellent.
